Sunday was speechless

Well, actually Thursday night through Sunday morning was. But describing Sunday with words adequately will be quite difficult. So here goes my greatest attempt. 7am came quite too early, but it was a call to gorging yourself….after a quick communion service. So we cruised over to Will’s grandparents house where we ate a full fledge breakfast. Amazing…besides the communion bread. After sitting a while and just thinking about all the amazing food, we peace’d. Will, Jim, and I went to Walmart to look at guns….I’ll explain later. Not like bullet guns: airsoft and paintball. After Walmart, we headed home to drop off Jim. Then Will and I headed to his church for service. It was a cool service, the pastor set down and presented the vision of the church. The church has been going through splits and stuff, so it was a new pastor. So after church, we headed to Chili’s. I got the normal–Texas Cheese Fries and Sweet Tea (w/ Mango this time). After Chili’s, we just drove around; cruising with the windows down and the music booming. It was awesome! We finally arrived at some ranch that Will knew someone who lived on it. So we went in and talked with the guy, really cool man, played with the dogs, and looked at cows. Anyway, after driving around for a while, we arrived back at Will’s church for some play practice. We then were told we had to go pick up David. So, we drove back to Teen Mania to get David then back to church. We chilled out bangin’ on the drums and guitars for ten minutes then realized that our evening college age service started in 30 minutes, and was 30 minutes away. So, we split and headed for Tyler. We arrived at Soma. The coolest church ever. So, worship and service was intense. Shawn lead worship, I loved it. Reminds me of Jeff Banks from the MC in ATL. Tony taught on the Mosaic and New covenants. I love the environment! Its just awesome. Anyway, after Soma we cruised over to Andy’s frozen custard–(same as Shake’s back in Ga). Then on the way back we saw a fair/carnival, so we went nuts and drove up to find that we have one week to enjoy it. So while we were there we totally hit up the pirate ship. it was glorious. That was our glorious Sunday. It was pure goodness after being mute and not eating for four days!
